For all those crazed fans who would love to enjoy all the attention on their usual spin, this 1966 Batmobile replica based on a 1973 Lincoln Continental chassis is going up for sale at the inaugural Historics at Brooklands auction in Surrey on June 2. Featuring rear parachute pod, boot mounted exhaust pipes, Batphone and an in-dashboard television, this one-of-a-kind creation is “extremely reliable and frequently driven.” Apart from all the styling cues and Batman paraphernalia that obviously looks more dominant from the outside, the extensive clippings file that features a number of showings alongside Adam West, star of the original Batman TV show is probably going to make a lot of fanboys lose their sleep over this.
