Grammy-Award winning singer Kelly Rowland, sidekick to Beyonce in the group Destiny's Child, owes the IRS more than $98,000 in delinquent federal taxes, according to public records.
Rowland, 29, rose to fame in the girl group, which broke through with the 1999 hit tune "Bills, Bills, Bills." After the group broke up, she released a few solo albums and maintains an acting career that included portraying Motown legend (and ex-Detroit Councilwoman/tax delinquent) Martha Reeves in a 2003 episode of the TV show "American Dreams."

FACEBOOK CLAIMS ANOTHER VICTIM
How many times I have to tell you guys that Facebook is nothing but trouble. That's why I do not have a Facebook or twitter page. Police said an online feud led to a public fist fight and then murder in Arlington over the weekend.
Though they were Facebook friends, witnesses told police that 19-year-old Alysha Tann and 18-year-old Nikki Bogan’s friendship had turned ugly. They were “beefing” on Facebook.
Then on Sunday night the two young women got into a fist fight in the parking lot of the Heather Glen Townhomes in Arlington.
An arrest warrant affidavit states Bogan lost the fight and then told her 20-year-old boyfriend, Darius Howard, to shoot Tann.
A witness saw him shoot a handgun six or seven times in the direction of Tann and a crowd of people in the parking lot, according to the affidavit.
Another person who was shot in the leg then drove Tann to the hospital where she died.
Tann’s Facebook page is now filled with R.I.P. posts.
Her accused killers are in the Arlington jail.
Howard is charged with murder and aggravated assault and Bogan is charged with conspiracy to commit murder.myFOXdfw.com:

6 DIFFERENT WAYS TO USE YOUR FREEZER
Don't you just hate the kernels of popcorn that are left at the bottom of the bowl? Eliminate the popcorn duds by keeping your unpopped supply in the freezer.
Remove wax from candlesticks
Grandma's heirloom silver candlesticks will get a new life if you place them in the freezer and then pick off the accumulated wax drippings. But don't do this if your candlesticks are made from more than one type of metal. The metals can expand and contract at different rates and damage the candlesticks.
Extend candle life
Place candles in the freezer for at least two hours before burning. They will last longer.
Unstick photos
Picture this: Water spills on a batch of photographs, causing them to stick together. If you pull them apart, your pictures will be ruined. Don't be so hasty. Stick them in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Then use a butter knife to gingerly separate the photos. If they don't come free, place them back in the freezer. This works for envelopes and stamps too.
Clean a pot
Your favorite pot has been left on the stove too long, and now you've got a burned-on mess to clean up. Place the pot in the freezer for a couple of hours. When the burned food becomes frozen, it will be easier to remove.
Remove odors
Got a musty-smelling book or a plastic container with a fish odor? Place them in the freezer overnight. By morning they'll be fresh again. This works with almost any other small item that has a bad smell you want to get rid of.

Was he playing against republicans or something? President Barack Obama needed 12 stitches in his lip after taking an errant elbow during a pickup basketball game Friday with a group of family and friends visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday, the White House said.
First word of the injury came in a statement from press secretary Robert Gibbs nearly three hours after the incident saying that Obama was inadvertently struck by someone's elbow. The individual was not identified.
Obama received the stitches under local anesthesia in the doctor's office on the ground floor White House after he returned home. Doctors used a smaller filament than typically used, which increases the number of stitches but makes a tighter stitch and leaves a smaller scar. I bet Dick cheny and the guys are smiling at this one.

"Ugly Betty" and "Step Up 3-D" actor Michael Brea has been accused of murdering his own mother by slicing her head with a 3-foot long samurai sword, TMZ reported. The 31-year-old actor was taken into custody in Brooklyn on Tuesday morning, November 23.
According to the police, Michael cut off the head of his 55-year-old mother Yannick Brea while babbling about religion and repentance in their Brooklyn, New York home. When cops arrived at the scene at around 2:20 A.M., Brea reportedly clutched a bible. Police described the scenes as "extremely bloody."
After using taser to subdue Michael, cops took him to a nearby hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. The site mentioned that Michael will be turned to NYPD once his psychiatric evaluation, which was conducted with a police escort, is complete.
Dude has completely lost his mind. They need to throw him under the jail.

Wafaa Bilal, a visual artist widely recognized for his interactive and performance pieces, had a small digital camera implanted in the back of his head — all in the name of art.
Bilal said Tuesday that he underwent the procedure for an art project that was commissioned by a new museum in Doha, Qatar, in the Arab Gulf.
Titled "The 3rd I," it is one of 23 contemporary works commissioned for the opening of the Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art on Dec. 30. The exhibition is entitled "Told/Untold/Retold."

RARE APPLE COMPUTER SOLD AT AUCTION
A rare Apple I computer assembled by Steve Wozniak -- of which only around 50 are thought to exist -- has sold at Christie's auction house for £133,250 ($213,600), slightly below what the company had seen as the high end of its estimate but nonetheless a record price for any personal computer. Wozniak himself was on hand to autograph the machine for the winning bidder, and called the original Apple "an important step" that put "the whole formula [for how personal computer
work] out there for the world to see."
The particular copy up for auction (#82) included a signed letter from Jobs suggesting monitors that could be used with the machine, and all the original support materials, including the optional cassette interface card and the original bill of sale ($741.66), including the cassette adapter and tax. The operation manual is also notable for having the original Apple logo on it, depicting Sir Issac Newton under the apple tree.
Why would you buy this when you can get an iphone for $200 bucks I do not know.

Atlanta police two men are facing charges after an apparent road rage incident that took place during the morning rush hour on Interstate 285 on Monday morning. -AL

Well this guy did. A SWAT team posted up outside a home in Wisconsin yesterday -- after a shotgun toting 67-year-old man blasted his TV because he was so enraged with Bristol Palin's performance on "Dancing with the Stars."
According to TMZ local authorities claim Steven Cowan (left) told officers that he felt Palin was not a good dancer and that she was only on the show because of her famous mother.
Officials say Cowan was so pissed after Monday's show -- that he fired at his television set and then aimed the gun at his wife ... though she managed to escape the house.
The SWAT team surrounded the home -- but negotiators were able to talk Cowan into surrendering early Tuesday morning. Authorities claim Cowan suffers from bipolar disorder.
In other words dude is just plain crazy.

Eva Longoria filed for divorce today after discovering 'hundreds of texts' from another woman on husband Tony Parker's phone.
The Desperate Housewives star, 35, confided to her friend Mario Lopez - host of U.S. entertainment show Extra - that Parker had cheated on her during their marriage.
The actress also confirmed to Lopez that she found hundreds of text messages from another woman on Parker's phone, who turned out to be the wife of one of the NBA player's teammates at the San Antonio Spurs. Longoria added that her estranged husband cheated on her with yet another woman with whom he kept in touch via Facebook.
'She is devastated, she wants us all to know that,' Lopez said. 'But she's strong.'
She confirmed the split today, tweeting: 'It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.'

Even though the Murcielago ended production earlier this month and its successor won't begin production for a while, Lamborghini has not been spending its time idly, and will prove that by introducing the Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante. Billed as "less weight, more fascination," the Spyder Performante is meant to take the 'regular' Gallardo Spyder to new highs of performance with new lows of weight.
Essentially a superleggera version of the Gallardo Spyder, a total of 143 pounds have been shed from the standard convertible through the use of carbon fiber and carbon composite parts both outside and in. The convertible cover is made from carbon fiber, as is the rear spoiler, diffuser and some underbody components. Inside, the transmission tunnel cover, door panels and seat shells are CF units.
The front end has also been tweaked for looks and aerodynamic purposes, with improved cooling and more downforce on the front axle being two of the results, and better rear aero comes courtesy of a redesigned diffuser. The blast-off time from 0-to-62 mph has been dropped to 3.9 seconds, and terminal velocity comes in at 201 mph.

A New York teen with a passion for electronics and serious initiative got tired of waiting for white iPhone 4s. So he skipped Apple and ordered the necessary parts from Foxconn. Now he has $130,000—and legal threats.
Seventeen year old Fei Lam, only a high school senior, tells the Observer that "I knew a guy from a few years back that had somewhat of a relationship with folks in Foxconn." This "guy" was able to export the exact same components that go into Apple's certified phones straight to Queens, where Fei packaged them up and sold them online as conversion kits. Clever! And lucrative—the grey market business has put over $130,000 in Fei's pockets since August—a sum he hopes will help him pay for a degree in computer science or business at NYU.

FDA TO BAN FOUR LOKO
Man this must be some good stuff. The FDA will effectively ban the sale of beverages that combine caffeine and alcohol, including Four Loko and Joose, according to Senator Charles Schumer In a press release, the Senator also announced that the Federal Trade Commission will notify manufacturers that they're potentially marketing the products illegally.
A spokesperson for the FDA would not confirm the release, adding that the agency announced a review of the products in November 2009. She could not comment on a projected date for completion of the review.
Schumer said in the release that the ruling, when it occurs, "should be the nail in the coffin of these dangerous toxic drinks.
The family of 20-year-old Jason Keiran of Florida is suing the drink maker over claims that it caused him to behave so erratically that he shot himself.

EX MEMBER OF JODECI RNB GROUP WASTED
This surveilance footage below is of DeVante Swing ,who both sang and produced for the group Jodeci, stumbling around a Subway restaurant in Burbank.California. He's knocking down chairs and falling over tables due to being heavily intoxicated. Police were called and took him into custody but he was released and no charges will be filed.
Boy they fell off hard. But if you look closely the chairs jumped in front of him.

RACIST LADY GOES OFF ON POST OFFICE WORKER
A black mail carrier refused to take back a letter he'd delivered to a lady in Hingham, Mass. She went on a racist rant and slapped him. He secretly taped it all on his cell phone.
The argument in the video is sparked by a certified letter that the mail carrier delivers. The woman has signed for it, but decides she doesn't want it because it's addressed to her husband, not her. But the mail guy won't take it back. Things go sour when she calls him a "F****** n*gger thief." She quickly qualifies: "I'm not prejudiced but right now I'm getting real pissed off." Finally she slaps him. Just your normal day on the mail route. Except really, really racist.
The video was uploaded in two parts on October 11th by youtube user hugsonamic, who purports to be the mail guy and claims he was fired over the incident: This woman is outrageous — I am still waiting for US Postal Inspection Service to investigate this matter. it has been a year since postmaster fired me for this racist lady, and Hingham court let her go free, no trial.
Wow sad part is that if he didn't record the incident no one would probably believe him. Second video after the jump.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A TOWER FALLS THE WRONG WAY
The former Ohio Edison Mad River Power Plant's 275-foot tower in Springfield came down on Wed., Nov. 10, but the blast knocked it the wrong direction. The tower was supposed to fall to the northeast, but ended up falling to the south — knocking down several nearby powerlines.
No one was injured from the tower falling the wrong way, but power was knocked out for more than 8000 customers when the smoke stack crushed several pieces of power equipment
Someone better go back to math class. But I have the answer to this problem. Tower + falling wrong way = FAIL

This is a tough one. I would say Unstoppable with Denzel Washington but he is the box office man he used to be. Skyline might be good but I"M 50/50 with that movie. Let's go with Morning Glory to edge out the competition this weekend with about $28 million.

DOES ANYONE USE A PHONE BOOK ANYMORE? APPARENTLY NOT
Regulators have begun granting telecommunications companies the go-ahead to stop mass-printing residential phone books, a musty fixture of Americans' kitchen counters, refrigerator tops and junk drawers.
In the past month alone, New York, Florida and Pennsylvania approved Verizon Communications Inc.'s request to quit distributing residential white pages. Residents in Virginia have until Nov. 19 to provide comments on a similar request pending with state regulators.
Telephone companies argue that most consumers now check the Internet rather than flip through pages when they want to reach out and touch someone.
Phone companies note that eliminating residential white pages would reduce environmental impact by using less paper and ink. It also can't hurt their bottom lines to cut out the cost of a service that rarely gets used and generates little beyond nostalgia.
The first telephone directory was issued in February 1878 — a single page that covered 50 customers in New Haven, Conn. That sheet grew into a book that became virtually a household appliance, listing numbers for neighbors, friends and colleagues, not to mention countless potential victims of prank calls.
Fewer people rely on paper directories for a variety of reasons: more people rely solely on cell phones, whose numbers typically aren't included in the listings; more listings are available online; and mobile phones and caller ID systems on land lines can store a large number of frequently called numbers
well goodbye phone books, now what am I going to do with all that paper.

Wow Kanye has that much clout that what he says can upset the President? Hip hop has come a long way. Also Bush accepts Kanye's apology after the jump.

NOT MY KIND OF CRUISE
A crippled cruise ship stranded off the coast of Mexico with nearly 4,500 people onboard got some additional help for its journey toward San Diego, California, on Wednesday morning.
A second tugboat joined in the effort to tow the Carnival Splendor to land late Tuesday night, U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Rachel Polish said.
A third tugboat was also assisting in the escort, she said.
The Splendor had been stranded about 130 miles west of Ensenada, Mexico, on Tuesday, a day after it lost power following an engine-room fire, Carnival Cruise Lines said in a statement. The ship has almost 3,300 passengers and about 1,200 crew members onboard.
A U.S. Navy aircraft carrier resupplied the cruise ship Tuesday evening. Sailors stood on the deck of the USS Ronald Reagan in 50-yard lines, handing off boxes of water, frozen bread, sandwich meats, granola bars, paper plates and more for the Splendor.
Well I guess if you wanted to do nothing that was your chance.
