REPORTER GOES SPEECHLESS COULD BE STROKE RELATED

Reporter Serene Branson is hospitalized after a slurring Grammys speech (video below) last night. CBS2 has yet to confirm if Serene Branson suffered a stroke.

Branson appeared live for CBS 2 News Los Angeles, covering the telecast. During the post-telecast recap, a CBS2 studio anchor sent the report to Branson who appeared outside the Los Angeles venue in a full winter’s jacket.
Branson appeared calm, smiling, and apparently fine. But shortly after she began speaking, it was apparent something had clearly gone wrote. With the exception of “very”, not one word in her sentence was intelligible. Branson’s facial reaction changed from smiles to frustration as she realized she was apparently unable to formulate a word.
Despite reports, CBS has yet to confirm if a medical matter, or a stroke, prompted the condition Sunday. The DailyRecord.co.uk is reporting that “she may have suffered a stroke”, but CBS2 has not confirmed that.
Hope she is ok this wouldn't be good for sweeps.

GARY COLEMAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION

Gary Coleman's family is reporting today (May 28) that he is on life support and unconscious with an intracranial hemorrhage according to the New York Post. They are also reporting that he has not yet undergone surgery as previous reports had indicated because of his grave condition

The 42-year-old former child actor was taken to the hospital after suffering a head injury during a fall. The actor's brother-in-law told TMZ that Coleman is listed in critical condition, saying he was taken from his home in Utah to the hospital around 12:50 p.m. Wednesday.

UPDATE: Gary Coleman has died as the result of injuries he suffered earlier this week, the hospital tells TMZ.
We've learned Gary's wife, Shannon, made the decision to pull life support early this AM.
We're told Coleman died at 12:05 PM MST. He died of a intracranial hemorrhage.
Family members and close friends were at Coleman's side when life support was pulled.
He was 42.

IMAGINE WAKING UP AND HAVING NO ARMS AND LEGS

"Waking up in the hospital with no arms and legs. And going, 'What's going on here?' And then he tells me. And his story will knock your socks off, cause I had no idea I was going through all that."

Katy Hayes was unconscious the entire time — unaware that a common Group A strep infection had set in, eating away at her body.
She was unaware of the incredibly difficult decision her husband made for surgeons to amputate her arms and legs in the hope that they could save her life.
"I decided that I loved her so much that the risk was worth it," Al Hayes said. "And if we came out and I had to spend a lifetime taking care of her that the risk was worth it to say that I didn't give up on her. Right? She's my best friend."
At first, Al admits he wondered if Katy would forgive him. He wondered if she could have a full life without a full body.
There is no doubt now.
"It's a complete miracle that I'm alive, so I'm so grateful... I'm so grateful," Katy said. "I wouldn't be here for my kids if they wouldn't have taken my arms and legs." i think I would have still cursed him out at least once. Wow.

MAN DRINKS RAW MILK AND IS PARALYZED

A 67-year-old man from Mars, Pa., is on life support at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, and his family is convinced it's because of the raw milk he consumed more than a month ago.
"I heard about all the health benefits," said the man's wife, Maureen Orchard. "We thought we were doing something good for ourselves."
James Orchard was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), a disorder in which the body's immune system attacks part of the peripheral nervous system. Except for minimal head and eye movement, Orchard is totally paralyzed.
Several days before the onset of his illness, Orchard and other members of his family consumed raw milk purchased at the McGinnis Sisters Special Foods Store. The raw milk was produced by Dean Farms doing business as Pasture Maid, LLC, a creamery located in New Castle.
People never cease to amaze me. People everything is not safe to try. stuff goes throught these safety checks for a reason.
