A 31-year old woman is recovering in Grady Memorial hospital Tuesday after being pulled from underneath a MARTA train.

MARTA officials say the woman was sitting in a wheel chair when she intentionally threw herself in front of the oncoming train.
The incident happened around 8:00 a.m. at the MARTA Five Points station.
According to witnesses they tried to flag down the train operator so the driver wouldn't hit the woman.
Atlanta fire units help MARTA officials rescue the woman from the lower levels of the station. According to witnesses, the woman handed a note to a woman near the tracks. She then stood up from her wheelchair and jumped in front of the moving train.
MARTA officials say the woman landed between the rails underneath the train. She suffered non-life threatening injuries and was conscious and alert when transported to Grady.
This lady made me late for work today. Next time if any of you are going to attempt suicide do it between non peak hours please.

T I HELPS BRING DOWN SUICIDAL VICTIM

Rapper T.I. says the help he gave police in preventing a suicide jump Wednesday had nothing to do with his court hearing Friday, when a federal judge will decide whether to revoke his probation.
V-103's Ryan Cameron noted in an interview with T.I. that "there are going to be some out there who say this timing is quite impeccable, that T.I. would do this, that he saw something to gain for his own situation."

"I'm not taking any credit," T.I. responded. "It could have been resolved in another way. The fact of the matter is God put me in a position, and put in my spirit to be in the position to help, and I can't take any credit for that.
Wednesday afternoon, T.I. said he was pulling out of his driveway and headed to a video shoot. He said he heard on V-103 about the man threatening to jump from 400 Colony Square, the 22-story Midtown building that houses the radio station.
An officer at street level recorded a video message from T.I. and sent it to a negotiator on the roof, who showed it to the 24-year-old man.

T.I. said the message simply stated "that I was here and I was looking forward to meeting him and that no matter what's going on in life now, it gets better."
When the man came down, he spoke to T.I. for about five minutes.
The man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for evaluation. He will not face charges, Polite said.
This still seems very convenient that T. I. would be on the scene right before he goes back to court. conspiracy maybe.

A Rutgers University freshman, distraught over a gay tryst splashed live across cyberspace by his roommate, plunged to his death from the George Washington Bridge.
"Jumping off the gw bridge sorry," read the final Facebook status from Tyler Clementi, just 72 hours after his private life suddenly became public knowledge.
The 18-year-old committed suicide after his dorm-room rendezvous was surreptitiously streamed on the Web via his roomie's hidden camera, sources told the Daily News.
The student who broadcast the liaison, and the friend who was with him, were arrested while Clementi's family waited for his body to be found
Wow sad story on both  sides. Hey they will get what they deserve.

When Callie Rogers won almost £2million on the lottery aged 16, she hoped it would help her put her troubles behind her.

The teenager came from a broken home, had dropped out of school and was living in local authority care.

What an idiot this woman is but in her defense winning that much money at 16 years old, if you have no guidence I can see blowin all your money.

A Connecticut truck driver who was in trouble with his bosses opened fire on his co-workers Tuesday, killing at least eight people before shooting himself.

The gunman worked at a family-owned beer and wine wholesaler in Manchester, Conn., where a union official called him a "disciplinary problem."
"The union was bringing him in to meet with the company," Teamsters official John Hollis told the Hartford Courant. "He started shooting."
The Associated Press reported that Omar Thornton, 34, was asked to resign and instead opened fire just before 7:30 a.m. This economy is straight killing people.

IT CAN NEVER GET THIS BAD

The man who plunged to his death in an apparent suicide jump off the Empire State building was a junior from Yale University.
Twenty-one-year-old Cameron Dabaghi from Austin, Texas, jumped from the 86th floor Tuesday. That floor has an observation deck open to the public.

He was dead when rescue workers arrived at the 102-story skyscraper shortly before 6:30 p.m.
The university said in a statement that it was extending support to the student's family and friends, and making counselors available.
The Empire State Building is the third-tallest building in the United States. More than 30 people have committed suicide at the building since it opened in 1931. The most recent was believed to have been in 2006. Remind me that it can never get that bad. i'm never that mad at myself that I need to kill myself
