WHICH MOVIES ARE YOU GOING TO SEE THIS WEEKEND?
Edge of Darkness with Mel Gibson
When in Rome
Saint John of Las Vegas
44 Inch Chest
Since I am not famuiliar with any of these movies except Edge of Darkness my money is on Mel for the number two spot. AVATAR is still a beast @ the boxoffice. Maybe $27,000,000 for Mel. I think LEGION will drop to number four while BOOK OF ELI will remain @ number three. Check my predictions on Monday.

KINDA OF MAD RIGHT NOW
MY PALM TX WHICH I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT WENT OUT ON ME TODAY. I MUST SAY THIS IS A SAD DAY IN AMERICA. MY WHOLE LIFE WAS PRETTY MUCH ON THAT THING. NEW CARS: THE FERRARI 458 ITALIA
Let me at it! A "small" Ferrari with a 9,000rpm 562bhp V8 engine, 202mph top speed, seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox and race-car handling. Doesn't look too shabby, either. What's not to like - apart from the £160k price tag? I have it in my garage right now

With this concept, the need of external peripherals like monitor or keyboard has been eliminated by projecting them onto any flat surface. Froot has been made by using starch based polymer made biodegradable skin that ensures a close loop of the product by returning the electrical components to the manufacturer for recycle and reuse. Moreover, Froot promotes social interaction by using the projected screen as a media center for business or family entertainment.

MARKET MONDAY: EVEN LARGE MULTIMILLION DOLLAR COMPANIES CAN'T PAY THEIR MORTAGES
A group led by Tishman Speyer Properties has decided to give up the sprawling Peter Cooper Village and Stuyvesant Town apartment complex in Manhattan to its creditors in the collapse of one of the most high-profile deals of the real-estate boom.
The decision comes after the venture between Tishman and BlackRock Inc. defaulted on the $4.4 billion debt used to help finance the deal. The venture acquired the 56-building, 11,000-unit property for $5.4 billion in 2006—the most ever paid for a single residential property in the U.S. The venture had been struggling for months to restructure the debt but capitulated facing a massive debt load and a weak New York City economy that has undercut rents and demand for high-priced apartments. THIS IS CALLED BEING PUT ON BLAST
The president of one of the world's largest tech firms made his debut this week on a huge Times Square billboard - but it's not for some new software.
Instead, it seems Charles Phillips' long-term gal pal put it there to embarrass the married mogul.
Phillips, the president of Oracle software, is shown hugging YaVaughnie Wilkins under the words "Charles and YaVaughnie" and a quote, "You are my soulmate forever."
The billboards - two in Manhattan and others in Atlanta and San Francisco - tout the Web address of an online photo album containing what appears to be eight years worth of snaps of the duo vacationing, dancing, drinking and singing karaoke.

UNDER THE RADAR SPOTLIGHT: DAVE MEYERS
This spotlight is on Dave Meyers. You may not know his face but probably have seen his work. He in my opinion is the best music video director out. When I watch music videos I generally do not watch for the artist because nine times out of ten they do the same stuff in the videos. But this guy has a very creative mind and his videos are fun to watch visually. He has worked with everybody just about in the industry from Missy Elliot to Pink to Brittney Spears and Nsync. He has been directing music videos for over ten years and also made his feature film director's debut when he directed The Hitcher. For a list of most of his works and people he has worked with, check his credits here. His latest work is wit Ludacris directing his How Low video. Check the visuals

The three-day event will feature more than 130 acts, including Thom Yorke???? (the Radiohead frontman's side project), LCD Soundsystem, MGMT, and Corinne Bailey Rae.
Jay-Z caught flak two years ago when it was announced that he would headline the largest Greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world: Glastonbury Festival 2008
IT'S FINALLY OFFICIAL: ATLANTA RANKED AMERICA'S GAYEST CITY
According to The Advocate magazine, Atlanta rates as the nation's gayest city, followed by Burlington, Vt., Iowa City, Bloomington and Madison, Wis. Don't bother looking for San Francisco, New York or Los Angeles -- those supposed gay meccas don't even place in the rankings compiled by the nation's oldest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender publication.
Though their research was admittedly unscientific, it's not without merit. Correspondent Mike Albo awarded points based on same-sex households per capita, statewide marriage equality, gay elected officials, gay dating and "hookup" profiles per single male population, gay bars per capita, cruising spots per capita, and gay films in Netflix favorites.

NBC MADE A 30 MILLION BOO BOO
Jeff Zucker, the president and CEO of General Electric Co's NBC Universal entertainment unit, told PBS television interviewer Charlie Rose on Monday it was his job to take chances if he wanted to lift NBC out of the ratings mire.
"They don't all work out," Zucker said, according to a show transcript. "Nothing tried, nothing gained."
NBC's decision to boot ratings champ Jay Leno out of his "Tonight Show" perch and give the coveted 11:35 p.m. slot to "Late Night" host O'Brien set off a calamitous chain of events that has placed NBC management squarely in the crosshairs of the TV public and pundits.

Nurse Outduels IRS Over M.B.A. Tuition
How One Woman Went to Tax Court and Won Deduction
A Maryland nurse accomplished two rare feats in her battle with the Internal Revenue Service: She defended herself against the agency's lawyers and won, and she got a ruling that could help tens of thousands of students deduct the cost of an M.B.A. degree on their taxes.
The U.S. Tax Court handed Lori Singleton-Clarke her victory last month, saying the 47-year-old Bryantown, Md., woman had properly deducted nearly $15,000 in business school tuition. The Tax Court ruling should make it easier for many other professionals to deduct the expense of a Master in Business Administration degree. Read the full story here.
I can't believe it. Someone actually beat the IRS. I guess it's time to start greeting those extraterrestrial beings that have been living among us. Hey where do you think the microwave, GPS and the cell phone came from.
