THESE GUYS MUSY BE VIRTUALLY CRAZY

Amethera Treasure Island Price: $26,500

In 2004 David "Deathifier" Storey became the Guinness World Record holder for "Most valuable object that is virtual" when he purchased an island in the virtual world Entropia for 265,000 Entropian dollars, or $26,500 at current exchange rates. Storey set up a virtual rare game preserve business on the island, which he says draws in around $100,000 in revenue per year. I wonder if he pays virtual taxes?

Club Neverdie Price: $100,000

Another well-known figure in the Entropia virtual world is Jon "Neverdie" Jacob, who purchased Club Neverdie, an asteroid space resort, for $100,000 in October 2005, nabbing the Guinness World Record for "Most expensive virtual property." The British gamer mortgaged his real-world house to purchase the asteroid, which includes a nightclub, sports stadium and shopping mall, but the investment paid off. Club Neverdie is estimated to be worth about $1 million

Crystal Palace Space Station Price: $330,000

And finally one of the more recent virtual businessmen to emerge in Entropia is Buzz "Erik" Lightyear, who reportedly bought the space station in an auction for $330,000 last December. Lightyear's luxurious new property is also expected to bring in significant revenues from virtual visitors.

On a side note, I think all these guys need a girlfriend.
