HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER CONVICTED OF PROSTITUTION

When school teacher Solona Islam got caught in a financial bind she turned to the world's oldest profession, hoping it could bail her out. Instead she lost her dream job as a teacher and needed to be bailed out of jail after being arrested for prostitution.

"I was scared more than anything else because I was thinking of my son. If I do go to jail, what am I supposed to do?" she said.
According to Islam she went on a date through an escort service. When she was offered more money to have sex, she said yes. The guy turned out to be an undercover cop.
She says credit card debt and the cost of caring for her 18-month old son caused her to make a bad decision.
"I can't even describe what I've been thinking the whole week, just pure pain," she says.
Islam was an algebra teacher at McClellan High School, the same school she had graduated from as valedictorian.
She pleaded guilty to the prostitution charge and paid the $640 fine, then waited to hear what school official would say when they found out. She also felt like she let her students down. adding, "I just love everything about my job, and love my students more than anything else in the world
I wonder if she gave a student discount.

A 67-year-old federal judge's wild relationship with a stripper started with a lap dance, prosecutors said, and quickly escalated into escapades of prostitution and gun-toting drug deals for cocaine and prescription pills.

Senior Judge Jack T. Camp, a veteran jurist who had achieved a status that allowed him a lighter caseload, now finds himself in a peculiar position, in front of one of his peers, and with lawyers combing through his decisions, wondering whether they have grounds to challenge them.
The stripper, who previously had a felony drug trafficking conviction, had been secretly working with the FBI since the spring to build a case against the judge. In exchange, prosecutors pledged not to charge her.

Camp's relationship with the dancer, who was not identified in court documents, began earlier this year. A day after receiving his first dance, he returned to the Goldrush Showbar for more dances, and added sex and cocaine to his tab, authorities said.
Over the next few months, the two used cocaine and other drugs together, sometimes at the strip club, and the judge would pay $40 to $50 to join her getting high, according to a sworn statement.

 A teacher from the Bronx, New York has been removed from her postion after this video emerged of her at an open mic event talking about how she used to have sex for money and comparing teaching to having sex with her boyfriend.
The city Education Department learned of Petro’s past from a post this month on TheHuffingtonPost.com, in which she claimed she was also a craigslist.org hooker from October 2006 to January 2007. Petro, a public school teacher for three years, has been placed on administrative duties.

Prosecutors continue to investigate a southwest St. Louis area woman they say knowingly spread the HIV virus by selling sex to unknowing men.

St. Louis County police say 20-year-old Nigaila Gibbs of the 7100 block of Horner Avenue, west of Bellevue, is charged with Prostitution while Knowingly Infected with HIV and is held on a bond of $50,000 pending her initial court appearance. Court records indicate Gibbs also goes by the alias "Sarah."
Police tell NewsChannel 5 Gibbs is alleged to have had numerous sexual encounters with the victims without telling them of her own HIV status.
Police say anyone who recognizes Gibbs and had sexual activities with her, should immediately seek medical treatment and contact the St. Louis County Police Crimes Against persons Unit at 1-314-615-5400.

They should just killer her on the spot. That's real messed up what she's doing.

L T ARRESTED IN RAPE CASE

Hall of Fame football linebacker Lawrence Taylor was arrested Thursday in connection with a rape investigation involving a 16-year-old girl, police in Ramapo, New York, said.

Christopher St. Lawrence, the Ramapo town supervisor and police commissioner, said Taylor, 51, was expected to be charged with third-degree rape. It carries a possible penalty of four years in jail.
According to St. Lawrence, Taylor was arrested at the Holiday Inn in Ramapo, about 30 miles northwest of New York City, on Thursday after Ramapo police received a call from New York Police detectives acting on information from the alleged victim's uncle.
The girl, a runaway from New York's Bronx borough since March, was allegedly brought to Ramapo by a pimp, St. Lawrence said.
When the pimp and the girl returned to New York, she texted an uncle, who notified police, St. Lawrence said. New York police arrested the pimp and called Ramapo, and Taylor was arrested.
taylor is an idiot. At least check id before dealing with a hooker.

Well if you don't this may jog your memory. Authorities say D'Angelo was caught in New York City trying to pay $40 for sex with an undercover cop posing as a prostitute. Police said Monday that the 36-year-old R&B singer was arrested early Saturday while behind the wheel of his Range Rover.

D'Angelo's real name is Michael Archer. He says in a statement that he pleaded not guilty and plans to fight the charge. Hey guess he ran out of groupies.

An anonymous tip and an undercover investigation at a mall massage parlor led Gwinnett County police to prostitution arrests.Yingjiu Liu, 40, of Doraville, is accused of soliciting a sex act on an officer at the Lucky Good Hands Massage parlor at the Mall of Georgia, near Buford, police said. She was arrested on a sex-related charge and massage without a permit. Shiying Tian, 41, of Buford, was arrested and charged with giving a false name and massage without permit. Iowa mom accused of pimping daughter. A Cedar Rapids woman was accused of arranging her daughter's effort at prostitution. Mary J. Doolin was arrested Wednesday in connection with a Sept. 29 incident in Coralville. Police said Doolin sent her daughter to meet an undercover officer who had contacted her during a prostitution investigation. According to police, Doolin's daughter, 37-year-old Debra Voshell, was later charged with pandering. Police said Doolin admitted to running a prostitution ring for a number of years and has prior convictions for pimping and prostitution. Now this mother is up for the mother of the year award. hey at least she keeps it in the family.
